I updated it and hated it so did a SR
However i seem to have a problem using the sharing folders with those who have updated
Is this a bug or what ??

I just had a look, when I opened my sharing folder with a friend that has the new version, it says that they are using a version of messenger that does not have sharing folders.
It seems that Microsoft are finding small ways to make you get the new version.
I don't want it either and I'm just putting up with the stupid things telling me to install it for now.

ha... yeah I was wondering if there would be problems between versions, i got sick of the little notice so went and installed it, barely changed really little bit annoying changing over... Really I don't see why they bothered changing it... Wasn't much of an "upgrade"
