Here are 10 reasons why Opera is the best to use:
1. Extreme Fast
2. Any PC compatible
3. Light, uses less than 10MB disk space
4. Has its own USB version
5. You can make, download and install new themes, including the Chrome theme
6. You can access your email using the Opera mail service
7. When you press the back button, the page doesnt reload, it just goes back to the previous page. IE for example reloads.
8. Opera is not part of IE. It doesnt integrate with it.
9. You can save sessions and use Speed Dial which allows you to see all websites youve loaded - in just one page
10. Accessing tabs is much faster than ANY other web browser.
5.4 MB (Windows) English (US)
7.1 MB (Windows) International
7.9 MB (Mac OS X) Intel
13.5 MB (Mac OS X) Universal
6.9 MB (Linux) Shared Qt package
8.7 MB (Linux) Static Qt package

It says yes, Albert.
I may try it but hard to relieve FF3. Took me forever to switch from IE7. |

I only asked because I have a Linix netbook coming that was rejected by a client so I said I would have it for sixty notes - brand new so I thought it might be worth playing with.

This forum is meant to be for reviews only. alih786, do you have any information to demonstrate your claims? Or any links for it?
Have you tested it against other browsers?

This isn't a review, it's a list of reasons why Opera is better than IE.
Moved.

Daveskater, that's what you're there for to help people find the proper home for
their posts. Sometimes they are iffy in any home. That was a review of sorts, as in features,
but works in Internet/Web perfect also. |

Yes Opera will run on Linux netbooks, but you will have to use the CLI on some of them to install it.

I got curious and gave Flock a try. Definitely a worthy contender.
- Nothing sneaky tried to install
- Imported ALL of my Firefox settings, not just some
- Lot's of cool features
- If your into social sites you'll love it, Facebook etc.. Flock - Powered by Mozilla Will Flock be powered by Firefox 3?
Flock 2.0 is now available and powered by the same technology as Firefox 3. Do web pages render differently in the Flock browser than in Firefox?
Web pages render exactly the same in Flock as in Firefox. Do my Firefox extensions work in the Flock browser?
Most Firefox extensions will work in Flock, with some exceptions. Additionally, extensions must declare themselves compatible with the latest versions of Flock and Firefox to work in either program. You can get Flock-specific extensions at extensions.flock.com.

better than every other browser out there. even chrome. in fact chrome is probably the worst one, it only works if you have at least sp2, the portable version of chrome is too large and it crashes, and it uses at least 40MB of disk space, no browser that i know of uses this much, not even ie7. Have you tested it against other browsers? | yeah: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opera_(web_browser)
its the only browser (including the new chrome), that has the security warning feature. when you go to a website that may be very harmful, opera pops up with a window asking if you want to continue to this page or leave. Now i havent seen this with the latest IE or Mozilla.
you might wanna see this guys, a comparisson of web browsers, and opera is the only one to load up quick out of all the browsers that are out there, according to windows. Browser speed comparisons

I just had to merge 4 posts of yours. The "+" button next to the quote button is called Multi-Quote. Click this on each of the posts you want to quote, and then click New Reply. It will then insert all the posts you selected as quotes, which means it will all be together in one post as they are now, which will annoy me much less

Firefox + WOT seems to be a very good combination, think I will stick with that.

Rick you said:

Yes i do: Features of the Opera web browser - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Now i know most people might say, all this stuff is the same as all the other browsers out there, but many people dont seem to be considering this a better performance usage when using the internet. Google Chrome & Firefox - these 2 use a lot of PF Usage/CPU and so does the new internet explorer.
And daveskater, i clicked on the + button, but there is no New Reply to click on?

I tried Opera and just couldn't get along with it. Firefox feels home, I'm no fanboy either.
