IE7 frequently freezing

just wanted to stop in and say hello.....and I am having a problem with my internet explorer 7. seems that it is freezing alot, and I am having to unplug my computer in order to reboot. I have 1 gig of RAM and a pentium 4 processor so I am assuming that it is not a RAM issue. The problem does seem a bit better since I unloaded my STOPZILLA. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem with it? thanks.

I don't trust anything from STOPzilla or other iS3 products. They try to lure in the unsuspecting.

You might want to run through the steps in the Malware Removal Guide and post up the logs.

As I suggested on your other thread, try FireFox as an alternative browser. My copy of IE 7 is unstable and takes ages to load - I have been using FF for some time now and it is a vast improvement.
Download from Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable | Mozilla Europe (That is if you are in Europe!)

quick word of advice golferscott, if your computer freezes instead of unplugging the machine to reboot, they have a built in feature for shutting down, which all you have to do is hold down the power button for at least 10sec and then is should shutdown like if you unplugged it, but saves you the hassled to unplug....just a tip....
