Help please with Dreamweaver

Evening all
How do I change the little logo that appears next to the site title for a website?
On TST it is the blue ?; on Google it is the block of red/green with a ? and on WIGH for example it is the gold WE on a black blackground.
What is it called and how do I change it???
Thanks in advance!

Not absolutely sure but I think it's a favicon.ico in the website server root directory.
Just a stab, Albert.

There are sites that explain how to add icon to "your" website.
There are sites that explain how to add/change icon in "your" favorites bookmarks.
I don't think you can change TST icon. But I'm wrong a lot.

I have found that there is a favicon icon in the root directory of the hosting site; if absent it defaults to a white oaoer with the corner folded over. Clearly you have to have access to the site files to mess with this!

I accessed the remote folder and renamed the favicon icon which had the desired effect of setting it back to the default. Time to get a suitable replacement and hurl it into the aether for all to see!
