As far as I can tell, you're looking pretty good there. Power output probably isn't an issue so you're good to go as far as that. The motherboard you have is also enough for what you need. So good luck with all that |

One thing - does your PSU have a suitable 6 way power supply for this card? For some reason the Ebuyer site will not show an enlarged image of this but I am pretty sure it needs it's own power feed.

Albert is right. You will need to check if your power supply has a 6-pin PCI-E connector for graphics cards. It's not essential as you will get a molex to 6-pin adaptor with the card, but it is recommended to use instead of the adaptor.
To check this, look at the connectors on your power supply for a connector that looks like this :-
Alternatively you can google the make and model of your power supply to find out what connectors it has.
Hope this helps

I was just about to say....It will use exactly the same power connector as the x1950, so it looks like you're sorted

Sorry Scippi - the threads crossed. You could uninstall any graphics drivers already there, otherwise plug it in, install the drivers and off you go. Any flashy sparky bits would not be good news!

Yes - there is no guarantee that the version for your old card will run with the new one. Let the new install deal with that for you.

Yes, uninstall your current drivers including Catalyst Control Center, then download the most recent drivers from here, then install those.
Usually the drivers on the disc are older drivers and might be less stable than new ones.
