can you guys let me know if a geforce 8800gt will fit into a asrock 4core dual-vsta or should i buy a new motherboard and if so any suggestions/ cheers  |

Providing the mobo has a pci express slot, there won`t be a problem.

on specs of card it says pcie 2 x16 i dont think my mobo has that but you know me/ ps should have money next week so well go shopping ps i love you to lol

all it says is asrock 4core dual-vsta/ oh and by the way if yours is agp you can have a radeon 9800 pro if you want

Howard, without wishing to speak out of turn, I would have thought that as you both live in Colne (and it is not that big a place!) you could actually go and look at it! Unless of course it means going anywhere near Hobstones Farm. Spooky!

My mate already knows how to build puters, well sort of. He was just a little confused about the mobo/video card combination.
Though, in my opinion a better mobo wouldn`t go amiss.

Doesn't look like that board is PCI-e x16, as it says "@ x4 mode", but it does have AGP. Go with a 79xx card is my opinion
I'll be selling my 6800GS OC son too, if anyone wants it, I put the Zalman hsf kit on it as well
