Intermittent 'No signal' on monitor, mouse/keybrd dont respond, net down

Only seems to happen at night & I think it has only ever been 5:30pm or later.

Full details & screen captures here:
Intermittent 'No signal' on monitor, mouse/keybrd dont respond, net down - Tech Support Guy Forums

Problem started over a month ago, very intermittent but now happens most days & mainly/only at night for some reason.

Intermittently, keyboard+mouse+monitor+internet (none are wireless) all appear to stop responding, monitor says 'no signal' & then goes black, no lights on keyboard, moving mouse won't do anything, even unplugging all these & plugging them back in same or diff usb ports in back or front usb ports doesnt fix it. Sometimes recovers on it's own (keyboard lights come on & mouse starts working) from say 30secs to a few mins, sometimes after 1-3 reboots or leaving it off for a while. When everything fires back up, I see the internet regains it's connection.

Tried plugging same mouse/keyboard/monitor into new near laptop during this problem & they worked fine, even tried a spare keyboard on my pc.

Sometime last year from memory, we lost use of the front usb ports & card reader, then usb ports started working again, then few mths later card reader started working again. But now having this problem.

Reformatted hard drive, did fresh install 2wks ago, no change. Put my docs/data on separate partition.
tried removing all usb cables & monitor & plugging back in
hubby checked all cards/connections in case, nothing was loose, pulled all cards/connections out & reseated/reconnected them after removing dust with compressed air & putting some wd40 in it, including resetting CMOS by leaving battery out for a while. Fan no longer noisy (2days later) & 'no signal' problem became less frequent, however starting to become a bit more frequent again.
manually tried to update every driver via Control Panel > System > Device Manager. Only 2 appeared to update (graphics card & some other one) but same problem persists. If I use any driver scanners, it shows up to 21 drivers outdated, but have to pay to be able to download the driver updates, can't seem to find a free one.
I also ran a Stability Tester from Nvidia NTune & it had no errors.
Ran an extended Memory Diagnostic Test, it took about 5-6hrs but came back with no errors.

NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Automatically Detect NVIDIA Products shows latest driver is installed:
NVIDIA Driver Downloads
Product = NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GS
Current Installed Driver = 275.33
Latest Driver Update = Your PC currently has the latest driver installed for your GPU. No driver update is necessary at this time.

Yesterday, installed some software to monitor temp of graphics card: Nvidia Ntune & PC Wizard. Problem happened tonight at 5:30pm & recovered within 30secs, temps looked ok (see attachment).

Nothing in event viewer between 5:24pm & 5:30pm, then quite a few logs at 5:30pm, some shown here & attached:

I've found various threads with the same, or similar issues... but with solutions being very different or where no solution was posted... some ppl have replaced every component they can think of that they thought was the problem & still not fixed it.

Been googling the 'no signal' monitor issue...

I think I may have it fixed, I just went thru everything on my comp & checked for updated drivers. That was about a week ago & the problem has not reaccured, so hopefully one of the old drivers was the issue. I guess only time will tell at this point.

It's not a temp issue. I checked temp of graphics card, CPU and Mainboard several times while playing and all normal. Used 'Driver Sweeper' to prevent any interference with older files.

managed to run windows debugger with the minidump files & get a result. All down to the graphics card, as I had suspected, or the driver, can't be sure which. It may not mean much to you but the graphics driver is getting stuck in an infinite loop, this is caused by a fault on the card or with the driver.
nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx?lang=en-us & downloaded driver... seems to have fixed it.

It sounds like you have an overheating problem with your card. As an auto-safety feature, cards have a tendency of "shutting off" so the chance of any pernament damage caused by the heat is greatly reduced.
Would you happen to know what the temperature of you card gets up to?
i have the same case the 8800GT is known for Overheating but 50-60 is fine. ill even let mine run at 90.
GPU memory leak? But to identify a memory leak i would suggest you play the games giving you problem and watch the memory usage of your video cards.. if the memory usage keeps slowly increasing and eventually ends up using up all your cards memory you can put your memory on there been a memory leak. Thing is i dont know any way to monitor memory usage on video cards. Memory leaks are normally to do with RAM and not GPU RAM.
Before reformatting, try: guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/
pchelpforum.com/windows-xp-2000/79420-black-screen-beeps-says-no-signal.html
Diff Prob = as also has continuous short beeps when NO SIGNAL on the monitor
3 things to check: video card and ram seated properly and cpu fan working. If that fails and you have more than 1 stick of ram, try removing 1 at a time and rebooting.
we found out that the cpu was the problem

Diff Prob = NO signal from monitor ever (even at boot up)
Plug monitor into a different socket – faulty socket.
happens to be the power supply I thought was brand new was bad.
