Anyone with more than one monitor might like the contents of this site DisplayFusion : Binary Fortress Software
I grabbed this from the blurb on the site Quote:
Here are just a few of the things you can do with DisplayFusion:
Set a different desktop wallpaper on each monitor (either a picture or solid colour)
Set a desktop wallpaper that spans all monitors (either a picture or colour)
Change your desktop wallpaper on a timer
Easily manage application windows with fully customizable hotkeys:
Move windows to the next monitor
Move windows to the next monitor and maximize them
Move windows to centre of the screen
Move windows to centre of the screen and size it to 75% of the work area
Tile windows along the top, bottom, left or right side
Maximize windows so that they span all monitors
Customize your own hotkey to do anything you can imagine
Integrated Flickr image search & download
Drag maximized windows to other screens
|
I attach a photo of the current apod (from http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ima...95_hst_big.jpg ) stretched across my desktop.
Once you have used more than 1 screen you can never go back!

Albert,
I owned dual 19" Hanns-G HW192D LCD monitors and I have been looking for the answers for the ages.
Even Nvidia's software wasn't working properly in DualView ( Which I usually use), I do hate use the Horizonal Spanning, it just.. disable one of my monitor before starting a fullscreen game, which it is not acceptable.
I hope this bring the solutions.
The everything that has a beginning that has an end.

That's pretty cool mate
I want to get two screens, but afford just one LCD at the mo, let alone two hehe. Plus I don't know if there's room for two on my desk

The cheapest screens I have seen are those on sale at Aldi - contrast and response not all that good but OK for general office work.

I don't know if there's an Aldi anywhere near me or not, but I'd get a fairly good screen anyway because I do the odd bit of gaming and video editing etc
Planning on getting a new screen with my new PC though Probably one of these, or at least something like this. LG L194WT

It does look pretty good mate
I'll probably end up with a black screen, though, because I want to get some Logitech speakers so it would look better if they matched I reckon.
Are Samsung screens generally good? I have a Packard Bell one right now that I got given and can't really fault it, other than it being a CRT The colours are pretty good and it's nice and sharp. That could be something to do with me playing around with the nVidia program settings though hehe.

Samsung kit is getting a much better reputation. My son works for them selling printers into the channel and he is well impressed with the quality - and he is not just saying that!

Well that's good enough for me hehe. I'll look into them more when I have the money to buy my new setup
