Angry Random No Signal Message on my Monitor

So this has been an ongoing issue and I have had several friends help out and I am at my wits end at this point. I will start off by saying that I have built this rig myself and as far as I know there is nothing structurally wrong with it.

several months back I decided to upgrade my system for a new game I was playing. I promptly researched parts with the help of some techie friends and ordered a new cpu, mobo, ram, and vid card. Since then the issues have begun. I started having intermittent "no signal" popping up on my monitor and no matter of unplugging cables or using hdmi instead of dvi brought the image back. Further more holding down the power button on the tower did not shut down the computer that was still powered on. I would have to go to the back and flip the power switch on the CPU. The first couple times this happened I was playing a video game, since then it has happened while reading emails, browsing the internet or just sitting there with nothing open.

I have done the following so far:
1. took the entire computer apart, made sure all pins and cards were working and seated.
2. tried alternate parts like another mobo, another monitor, and other cables with the same results
3. ran diagnostics on RAM and stress tests
4. checked event log for windows
5. purchased a new drive and reinstalled windows
6. RMAed RAM, Video card, and PSU
7. bought a new monitor
8. ran temp tests on the box

At this point I do not know what else to do and google hasnt been much help. This happens...and it is random and I have no clue where to go with this. My specs are in my profile but if you need more details I would be happy to provide them.

I do not know if this belongs in the Monitor Video section but its a start.

It looks as if you have replaced just about everything except the motherboard - there is perhaps a clue in the problem of it not powering off with the power button (providing that was wired up properly?)
I would be inclined to replace the motherboard - and no, I don't believe it is a monitor related issue for the same reason.

Should i request to have this moved to the Mobo section? unfortunately I am just outside my RMA period with the Mobo by a week or so, do the manufacturers usually swap them out?

I should let the mods decide about the thread. If they want if moved they will do it.
As for the motherboard, I would get in touch with them and ask them if they will consider a swap out.
