Check out this site Hack This Site! its only basic low level stuff... but it will give you a good background knowledge.

The forums not that good, join the site and try out the challenges. You can do the first few basic ones with just a small knowledge of HTML, it gets a little more intensive towards the end of the basic ones but there not too hard. I'm on realistic 3 or 4 i think, getting into SQL injection and stuff.. It's fun to do and really gives you help into how to secure websites.
Your like WOW this is more secure than my website... then 30mins later you've hacked it lol and you rush back to secure you own site haha
