Not sure where the name for this latest moon launch vehicle Chandrayaan-1 comes:
but according to Wikepedia it is in reference to Chandra: Quote: |

I do fancy walking on the moon but I don't think I could stand the extensive training program astronauts are put through. Someday, when the technology might become available for the common man...

Just looking at the craters on the moon through my telescope is enough to cause my breath to catch. It is an awe-inspiring sight. Have often thought of how the previous moon walkers really felt when they saw the grandeur of a rising 'half-earth' as I have only seen in the photographs they brought back to earth.
All the science fiction novels I have ever read as a young man seem to be comming to life these last 50 years.

I might be wrong but possibly the vicavisti should be 2 words vi cavisti
What dictionary are you using? Couldn't find vicavisti but found cavisti.

Not natural - just like the potential for being really rude - you know, like naughty words and innuendo - in another language in public. Learned Latin at school and hated every moment of it - now I wish I had paid more attention. In truth, that pretty well sums up my education.
