Help

Hi once again,

Well I'm on here again with another problem and let me tell you I'm about to throw my computer through the window!!!

This will probably be simple for you guys, I'm having trouble with my Toshiba memory stick. Every time I go to open it I get message saying F:\ is not accessable, Access is denied. How the hell do I fix this problem?? I have never had a problem with it till now I have all my music on this device.

Thanks once again.

Troy

First off has it got a small locking device on it that you may accidentally moved, have you tried it in another computer and what is the operating system on your computer?.

In addition it is worth remembering that these things are not reliable and it may simply have gone up the great digital stairway to whatever goes for data storage heaven. Doing what Alan suggests with another PC will confirm if this is the case.

It doesn't have a locking device, I will try it in another computer and see how it goes, I run Windows XP.

The actual stick is only about 6 months old so hopefully it hasn't died yet but then again it maybe easier if it has!! I'll let you guys know.

Thanks

Ok I tried it on another computer and it picked up a virus so I got rid of the virus and formatted the memory stick, obviously it deleted my music but that's ok as I have it backed up. i was able to then open it on the other computer but I still can't open it on mine??? I get the same message...
