youtube is underfire, you should see the amount of videos that have audio disabled now, also your using a LOAD more "downloads" watching video even if it is a still image. myspace is ok, but most artists usually put say 1 of their best songs and the rest are usually b grade

The great thing about You Tube is the great variety of videos, not only music! I download all sorts of things and make movie DVDs. We really enjoy music from the past "great" performers.
Although some contemporary music is really wonderfull, we find that the real classics of the past keep reappearing in performances by the 'best' contemporary artists worldwide.
For example, Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" (Canadian), has made a great comeback in recent years. That is just one example and there are many, many more. A classic earns its place because it leaves such a great vibratory imprint on the mass consciousness of a society. And because of this it is 'durable' and enduring and can last for decades, not just a few years like most 'popular' music in any category.

You tube has blocked the UK from premium videos

There anyone can put up their own music for free, and anyone can download them free... You can find real good ones, I have downloaded a lot from there!
Only problem is that you have to be able to understand Finnish...
