There is also the problem of magnetism when mounting a sub inside a PC case.

The bass speaker is usually driven by a hefty and strong magnet and hard drives are magnetic storage devices...

ooh good point...that would suck if your bass speaker got a little too close to your case. Be kind of funny if the magnet was so strong that it just moved your entire case into it. Although the hardware would be kinda shot.

Yup, you definitely don't want a big magnet going near your processor Plus as you say, it could completely wipe out your hard drive.

A bit off topic (Howard isn't watching!) but have you seen how strong those magnets are that are inside all hard drives? Pick up passing Vauxhall Corsas at 50 yards I tell you!
