CPU Cooler
I fitted a Scythe SCZP-1000 Zipang Quiet Socket (weird name) to a noisy machine yesterday and the difference is astonishing. I don't have a Db meter but this thing is dead quiet and the CPU temps are 10% lower too. Very good value for money at about £35 from ebuyer on Scythe SCZP-1000 Zipang Quiet Socket 478/775/754/939/940/AM2 with 140mm Fan Processor Cooler - Ebuyer -

10% cooler than the stock cooler is that? Some detailed specs here Scythe Zipang CPU Cooler Scythe Zipang CPU Cooler [SC-SCZP-1000] - $86.00 : PC Case Gear, Quality case accessories and components 21Db apparently nice buy as well

Looks like the same thing - and yes it is running 10% cooler than and old stock Intel cooler.
