I been using FileHippo file updater for a couple + months now and I'm ready to pass it on.
Its user friendly and easy to install, there is a customize setting where you can, show all/hide this/hide all releases. ( this I like) FileHippo.com Update Checker ( public beta) Quote: What is it?
The Update Checker will scan your computer for installed software, check the versions and then send this information to FileHippo.com to see if there are any newer releases. These are then neatly displayed in your browser for you to download.
| - Download from here and save to your desktop
- Double click the FHSetup.exe icon on your desktop, click Run
then follow the prompts to finish installing Update Checker. - Doubleclick the shortcut updatechecker icon on your desktop to start scanning for new updates.

I tried it but im picky on what starts up on my computer, but I do download the programs that i need from FileHippo so this is a great tool to use with all those programs that need updating.
I am also a bit weary about it as it tells FH what programs that we have so what else does it tell them?

I just tried this out and it is pretty cool. The whole process only take a few seconds and there is nothing to install. Hopefully they will add even more programs to the list in the future. It's not complete but it is MUCH faster than many original download sites.
