Do you consider it free if it came from a torrent=) Most of the stuff I use is Saas programs I pull from Isecuritysource.com. Plus any of the zillas. Filezilla, mozillia etc.....

We know the difference in what torrents are. Anything that is copyrite protected and downloaded through a third party torrent that isn't issued from the vendor is illegal. The discussion on them isn't debatable at TST so please let's move on and keep this thread friendly.

I have a second computer next to main one. It has VMware running on it with 4 Virtual workstations. I install on the Virtual workstation first and look for virus and such. Make sure its clean. If it fugs up I delete the Virtual workstation and load a new one=) Simple effective and dont have to worry about my main machine. Plus I have to monitors running and I remote access the machine behind a hardware firewall on the lan.. No worries.

the free versions do me fine
