New battery not recognized by Laptop Battery Meter

New battery not recognized by Laptop Battery Meter

We just installed a new battery in our Laptop but the meter is unable to indicate how charded the battery is or how much battery life is remaining. The new battery is a 9 cell 85Wh the old battery was a 6 cell 5Wh.

Can anyone tell me how to get the meter to work? Is it a new driver?
