Is it just a power lead or has it got a built in transformer, if it is just a power lead you can get one from Maplins.

Google is not always the answer Donna
Try the Seagate website, contact their support and see what they can do.
I'm guessing it has a transformer and some kind of funny connector on it.

To be honest, I can't tell if you mean the ac adapter or usb cable.
If the adapter, seagate should have it. If the usb cable, any electronic dept. |

it looks like this Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!
and if you take the seagate drive to Maplins the next time you are in Norwich they should be able to help you. They will need to know the voltage and amperage of the power supply and if you take it with you they will probably sell you a multi volt with multi adapters - one will fit.
Their place is near the Castle - details here Maplin
go to it - two short walks and a train ride in the middle!

They generally use a 12volt supply rated around 3.5amps if that's any help.
There should be a label on it stating it's power requirements.

S ods law can be overcome if you
1 - stop looking for it, and
2 - bow 3 times to the east and cry "mutabor"
