That's a good one mate

If that one breaks then you can always try the next one up - the one nearest me

The two dark lines a bit below the chimneys on the right are a SECOND power station - yep - two in one go

You might like to try a priest and have it exorcised? Or maybe immolated? Or give it the witch test - chuck it in a pond and if it floats it is a witch.

Klunk... I don't know how many sata connectors it has... I ordered it but the courier got some problems... he got jammed in the first tunnel...
I think that it should power about 10 LCARS systems...

Hey Dave, you have good company!

I was thinking about the cooling system of this new powerful PSU... What about a 500x500 (meters) fan? But I'd prefer a liquid system... putting the PSU external; otherwise I'll need a very big case...

And I'll channel the smoke outside the window, on the neighbour's window: I'll wash his glasses with the vapour, and igienize them! He'll be very happy....

Albert, I have an idea... I'll immolate the PSU and maybe the motherboard too... I'll launch them in the reactor chamber... maybe in the New Year's Day... a bomb!

Best liquid cooling ever is a pond. Or lake, etc. Minor logistical issues, but what the heck!

Hey, anyway: PROBLEM SOLVED!!!! But a mistery remains...

FIRST (old) PSU: it was burned. I tried two cables: nothing.

SECOND PSU: defective (do you remember?)

THIRD PSU: once installed the PC worked... after some minutes: unable to power on... I uninstalled and reinstalled it: it worked!.... I turned it off, I unplugged the usb cable of the wifi antenna: the PC became unable to power on... I was thinking to USB motherboard connector issues...

It has been totally dead for several days... I tried to power on it every day, more times... NOTHING!!!

Some days ago, the turning point:

I thought: "let me try just another time...": I powered it on... and worked!!!

I was unable to understand...

So I went behind the PC and tried to plug the wifi antenna usb cable... I just touched lightly the case with the usb cable connector... and it powered off!!! Then I saw that when I touched it... I rested on the case with the other hand just a moment... and making this I touched lightly the POWER CABLE! And it turned off.....

CONCLUSION: the NEW power cable (of the 3rd PSU) was broken!

I installed a new one, and now it works normally!

Three strange "coincidences", three breakdown...

The internet connection was unable to work because in the same days the wifi router fell down and lost its wifi capab. We installed a new one (another brand)... but windows was unable to surf using it... and it got "blocked" when the windows PC was on... I installed a third router and all the computers came back able to surf...

Anyway, thank you for your help and advices!

Just an idea, have you tried a different mains lead? It's possible the fuse is blown in the one you have.

Suddenly this is all beginning to look horribly familiar - do you have a mains powered USB hub? If so, disconnect it and see what happens.
