lexmarks ink cartridges

i have a lexmark printer and before i buy a new ink cartridge i always do at least one or two refills of my own. with lexmark cartridges i find that i am unable to reset the ink levels to full unlike previous cartridges of a different brand of printer.
so if anyone know how to achieve this don't be shy, let me know please.

printer: lexmark 4300 series

Lexmark printers were also branded as Dell - might be worth a look?

I believe you have to get an electronic thing to tell Epson cartridges that they're full again, try looking on eBay or printer spares websites
