I didn't know exactly were to put this so I put it in other hardware.
Ok so I have a S-video hook up (thats in my graphics card) and a yellow composite cable hookup. I think thats what its called. To explain that better, you have the red white and yellow hookups on your TV, its the yellow one that I have on my motherboard. I think my motherboard even says that its for video out. So I hook up the composite cable and plug it into the TV and go through the Nvidia display, but can't seem to get the video onto the TV. I try using the auto detection but am not entirely sure that it sees the TV. And on the other hand I am kind sure it sees it as it says HD TV or something to that effect. I try and set up like a dual screen display, but can't seem to get any video to the TV. Does anybody got any suggestions to try and get this working?
*Edit 1* Ok so never mind about the yellow hookup. Its a Coaxial S/PDIF Out port. Which is for audio. So that would be why it doesn't work for video.
*Edit 2* Ok so I answered my own questions. The S-video on our VCR only has S-video out, so that wouldn't let video in. Obviously. ok well I guess I can't hook up my computer to my TV. bummer. I need a VCR/DVD player with s-video in to do it. A mod can delete this thread if they want, as I answered my own questions.
*Edit 3* Well I found a cool little, fairly cheap solution to my problem.
Cables To Go - 3ft Value Series S-Video + Audio to 3 RCA Type Adapter Cable
Not a bad price and nice and easy to hook up your computer to your TV.
