Question How can I hook up my computer to the TV?

I didn't know exactly were to put this so I put it in other hardware.

Ok so I have a S-video hook up (thats in my graphics card) and a yellow composite cable hookup. I think thats what its called. To explain that better, you have the red white and yellow hookups on your TV, its the yellow one that I have on my motherboard. I think my motherboard even says that its for video out. So I hook up the composite cable and plug it into the TV and go through the Nvidia display, but can't seem to get the video onto the TV. I try using the auto detection but am not entirely sure that it sees the TV. And on the other hand I am kind sure it sees it as it says HD TV or something to that effect. I try and set up like a dual screen display, but can't seem to get any video to the TV. Does anybody got any suggestions to try and get this working?

*Edit 1* Ok so never mind about the yellow hookup. Its a Coaxial S/PDIF Out port. Which is for audio. So that would be why it doesn't work for video.

*Edit 2* Ok so I answered my own questions. The S-video on our VCR only has S-video out, so that wouldn't let video in. Obviously. ok well I guess I can't hook up my computer to my TV. bummer. I need a VCR/DVD player with s-video in to do it. A mod can delete this thread if they want, as I answered my own questions.

*Edit 3* Well I found a cool little, fairly cheap solution to my problem.

Cables To Go - 3ft Value Series S-Video + Audio to 3 RCA Type Adapter Cable

Not a bad price and nice and easy to hook up your computer to your TV.

Lol, you completely lost me mate . I've linked my computer up to my TV using the cable from the link, and it worked without any problems. Just plug it in before you switch on your computer. In all honesty the picture quality when hooking up to a TV via s-video is very poor. It runs at 640 by 480 with a refresh rate of 50hz, so you can hardly read anything. The only way to really benefit from hooking your computer up to your TV IMO is via HD
