Anybody had any experiences with this, and how much does it cost to post the thing to them?
Found out mine's faulty and is actually responsible for 3 GPU deaths this year, see: Far Cry 2 Ultra - Card Failure - YouTube
Corsair aren't even covering return postage for it, pretty pathetic for a known brand and considering the amount of damage the thing's done if you ask me.
EDIT: Make that 4. Wish I'd kept my X-Power 580 now.
Cheers

I think I am right in saying that under standard UK warranty law you can claim the cost of returning the faulty goods to the manufacturer from them - if they refuse to pay or make you jump through too many hoops, go to the CAB and ask for their help.
Did you buy from them direct - if not, you have a valid claim against the vendor where the same rules will apply.
Go to it!

I may try but I doubt they'll pay up, it's only been a day and a half since I opened RMA to be fair No response on their forums still.
It's not like I'm even trying to claim consequential damage for the various GPUs this thing has eaten either! In the meantime, my Basiq 350 is taking quite a hammering.

If you don't ask, you won't get! Wait until you get the replacements and then ask them about them repaying your shipping costs.
You are probably right about the consequential costs - difficult to prove now and probably excluded in the small print anyway!

They won't even replace it? I would go to trading standards to see what they have to say about it! You could always threaten them with the small claims court too - that works!

I had to post faulty Corsair memory sticks back to Holland at my own expense, it took six weeks for them to send the replacements back.
I know that it was not a PSU, but if they work to the same time scale to replace you PSU, it will save you some electricity
I will never by Corsair memory again.
