It's up to you whether you get the new CPU or not mate, but you will notice a difference with the new one. My dad's laptop has 2x 3.06GHz P4's and his new PC has a C2D at a lower speed, 2.66GHz I think, and you can notice the difference straight away. Plus the new one's running Vista and it flies. Makes my PC look like a 486

This case has a custom PSU in it so if you want to go better than 350W you will have to pay through the nose for it (if available). Also, do not expect to get a large format PCI-E card into this case - there is no room! If you want me to take some piccies of its guts as I have mine set up, let me know.

Ok, thanks Can the PSU be replaced with a bog standard one? This is probably the last antec thing I'll buy, I swear they're going down emachines route...

Yeah mate, you can't really go wrong with an Enermax IMO. Just so long as that case will take an ATX PSU.

Yeah, I'm tempted. I'm either going to get a Corsair VX (most likely) a Jeantech 400w or an Enermax.

Actually mate, it says "350 Watt custom power supply with universal input", so it won't be an mATX or ATX one by the sounds of it.
Albert said he has one of these cases a few posts back, if you ask nicely enough he might be able to get pics and/or measurements of the PSU for you

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Albert, could you get the PSU measurements? Cheers

Universal inputs sounds like 230V switch inside psu ?

The universal input most likely means that it has a "kettle-type" connector on the back, which you plug the mains cord into, like this.

Give me 1/2 hour or so and I will get the dims and a picture or two.
Piccies attached - there is no way a standard PSU is going to fit in here!
Pic 1 - PSU is over the CPU - note step.
Pic 2 - PSU back panel - you can see that part of the PSU extends the full width of the case over the PCI slots
Pic 3 - Antec extraction fan uses a PCI slot - there is a small PCI-E card in here.
Pic 4 - 2.5" drive to give scale
Pic 5 - coool bloo

Wanna buy it as is? Had not thought about a price but could work something out. It is practically brand new.

I should start a new thread about the guinea pig - after all, this forum is known for dealing with fish related problems!
No worries about the box - I will get it shifted soon!
