I am a bit short on space and I'm thinking about getting a MATX Cube case. I've got my eyes on a few-one of which is this but I'm not sure... Can anyone recommend one to me? I have a Startech FAN775, will this fit? Thanks.

Unless your cooler is particularly huge then I reckon it'll be alright.
There's a 120mm fan on the back and it looks like the case is about twice as high as that. So long as from the back of your mobo to the top of your cooler isn't more than 120mm, then you should be ok.
Edit: That site you linked to says it's 32mm high so I reckon you'll be absolutely fine. Just make sure you stick a fan in the front of the case.

Wouldn't my PSU block it? EDIT: I'm now going for this one, it looks different on the front-Is it the same on the inside? I can't tell. Also, my the heatsink/fan combo is 8-9cm.

I don't think your PSU would block the CPU hsf unless your CPU socket was right at te bottom of the board, or on the bottom half at least. If it's near the top then you'll be alright.
Open the page on Ebuyer for the case and click more images. There's a picture of the back of the case in there.
What Bushwhacker means is he wants a link to the case you're looking at, which you have provided. He just hasn't noticed it

Wow.. I'm blinded.
You should be ok, unless you want to mod it, by drilling a hole ontop of the case, allowing the direct ventilation between the case and HSF ?

Ok, I've worked it out (I think). it would have about 3cm breathing space. Is this enough?
EDIT:just saw bushwhacker's post. I don't really have the guts to drill it in case I damage something... I'm that clumsy I probably would

It may be enough, but you should consider to add little more cooling, such as back of the fan. |

Well, it could be better, but expect higher temps than you have now.
Is there only that much room because of your optical drive? Because from what I can see on the pictures nothing should be in the way.

I think a bit of the PSU will overlap about 50-60%, not sure though. I only have a DVD-RW drive so I should be alright. I hope it will be better than my current case - my current case is so rubbish I ended up ripping the front off - I forced it back on again, but I think it broke the front panel audio because it won't work.

Well, you should be ok, but as long as you consider the modular power supply, it is much cleaner and uses less wires than you need, but if you need some power to that drive, just take a wire from the box, plug it in between the drive to power supply.
And for the temperature, you should consider the good CFM on the fan and the dual or bottom fan of psu.

I don't really have the money for a new PSU as well as a new case right now, however I am upgrading in the future. A modular PSU would indeed be good. Also what does CFM mean?

Cubic Feet per Minute
The higher it is, the stronger and more air it comes through the fan.
You should consider at least 20 CFM or more.
Vantec Tornado topped at 85CFM, according to my magazine. It is the loudest fan ever, which it never bothers me |

Ok, thanks. When in the future I get the case I'll let you know how it works out.

Bushwhacker touched on this, but I'll expand slightly for you.
You will want to find a good balance between CFM and noise. If you can, get a 120mm fan in the front of the case, as they spin at less RPM than an 80mm fan, but have the same amount of airflow (CFM). You will need to keep in mind that the more airflow there is, the faster the fan is spinning, which is turn will make more noise. These fans are very good - I have an 80mm non-LED version and it spins at a lower RPM than my other 80mm fan (at the front of my case) whilst keeping the same amount of airflow, and it's quieter. Very good kit indeed. Plus they look cool hehe

Thanks, I'll look into that.
EDIT:I'm looking for a quiet, dual-fan psu over 350w and in the price range of £20-£40 to suit this case. Should I make a new thread?

No, you can stay on this topic, because the psu belongs to case category.
So.. go ahead, but edit your thread topic as Micro ATX cube cases and PSU
