Modem/router advice needed

Hi all and thanks for any advice that can be given in advance.

I have just signed up to tpg adsl2+ 120gb plan and am in the process of choosing a modem so I can connect to the tpg network. I already have a cable modem which I have been told will not work with the tpg network. I also have a netgear wgr614 router which is about 1 year old and I would like to keep the router if possible as I havent had any trouble with it, the router is a cable/dsl router. I am a bit confused about which modem to buy atm as the operator has told me it needs to be pppoe compatible which is something I know little about. If anyone can let me know if I am able to use my existing router and which modem to buy it and even some advice on how to set it up it would be a great help. I suppose I should also say that I am looking at getting a Netgear DM111P ADSL2+ Ethernet Modem to do the job but am not really shore if this is the modem I should be looking at. Any advice much appreciated.
