Problem with Windows startup time while loading HP LAN Driver

hello,
i have a workstation with windows xp 32 bit pro sp 3 and i have a color laser jet cm 2320 nf mfp connected through network (lan). i have the same problem whit other computers too. the problem is: i install the hp drivers all regular and i test the printer and the scanner and it works. the problem is that when windows startup, it loads all the icons in the system tray, but to load the lan icon (the two small monitors) windows needs at least 2 minutes. in this time i'm unable to use any lan-attached periferal. if i uninstall the hp dsrivers, windows loads and boot normaly and this problem disappears. i tried whit several computers and in different offices, to avoid doubts. the situation is the same. i use the lastest driver....!!!!! help me... thanks. best regards.

We have had another member who has recently had this problem, they also found that the answer was to uninstall the drivers.

Check the HP website and see if you can download an older version of the driver, start with the one before the current one if there are older ones available.

The other thread can be found here.

It may sound daft, but I have come across this problem with Minolta drivers if they are installede on a system where there is no copy of English (US) installed. It does not have to be the default language but if it is absent the install process does not complete properly and the drivers do not therefore work properly.
