[SOLVED] Need help connecting dvd recorder to set top box

I have got a dvd recorder which I want connected to my set top box so I can record picture from the set top box onto the hard drive or dvd on the dvd recorder.I also have an lcd rear projection tv which doesnt have a tuner so it relies on a seperate tuner for its picture.I currently have it hooked up but I have to switch in between S-video and video which is a real pain because I cant record anything coming from the set top box.Any help would be much appreciated.

If they both have 2 scart sockets then it's simply scart to scart.

Well I have just figured it out and alot of it was just by fluke. I connected my av lead from my stb au/vid out to my dvd recorder au/vid in then the av leads from the dvd recorder au/vid out to the au/vid in on the tv. It still wasnt working as my remote for my dvd recorder has 2 av buttons which are quite small. I was pressing the wrong one which wasnt doing anything, then I noticed the other one which I hadnt really taken much notice of even though I have had the recorder for about 4 years lol. When I had set the dvd recorder to av2 tadaaaaaa it works yippeeeeee. Thank you Dave for trying to help so quickly.
