Webcast at European Court of Human Rights - Home page / Accueil - Cour européenne des Droits de l'Homme
I wish to view an important case scheduled for 1430 CET tomorrow 22nd October.
Problem is, last time I attempted to view their webcast I was prompted to download Windows Media Player 11 .. problem is I already have WMP 11

I think there is only one edition of WMP 11 so yours may have become corrupted - this can happen if you have windows updates enabled as automatic or you have recently installed SPIII for XP.
I would download and install the edition you find on Windows Media Player 11
cheers

I have since found there are several editions of WMP11 - the one on the link I posted is newer than the one I have so I will run the install later.
It might be an idea to disable your AV software and disconnect from the net once you have downloaded it so the install can run 'clean' as it were.

After you download the WMP plugin for FF then it will work fine. It's a shame that it doesn't come pre-installed, but it's no hassle to get it going.
IE7 ftl imo btw

IE7 ftl imo btw | I can only see a plug-in that works for FF 1.5 and earlier so far.
Nothing for FF3 yet.

It will ask you to install missing plugins but you will have to do a manual install then it will take you to a page to download it. I'm pretty sure I've already installed it and I have FF 3.
Just checked - it is in the Plugins tab of the Add-ons box

What name is it in the plug-ins section?
All I can find is plug-ins for old versions of FF.
Following the links on the site takes me to this page: Mozilla ActiveX Plug-in

This is a multimeda related question so I have moved the thread to the Multimedia forum.

Following the links on the site takes me to this page: Mozilla ActiveX Plug-in | In the box of installed items it says Microsoft Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin. Can't really say more than that as each time I install it, it's because I'm prompted to.
