first of all, i have loads of mp3 files saved on the pc and i want to save all of them on cd disk and play them on the car stereo.
ok, now, my car DEFINATELY DOES support mp3. i have checked it in the manual. i have tried many ways of burning and saving, and still i get nowhere.
iso 9660 - is the file i use to save the mp3's to cd. i have made a data cd disk with mp3 files, and also a normal mp3 disk. and i have used nero to do all of this, still i cant play the mp3 files on the car stereo, instead it comes with a message: 'Error CD' and then ejects the disk.
the type of disk i use to burn is CD-RW.
nero 6 is the burning software i use
what else can i try, i have tried everything there is, even on the car and on the manual says the car plays mp3 disks. the car stereo player has this writton: CD30.
can anyone help???? ps. once again the car cd player does support mp3, it says it in the manual.

Hello and Welcome to Tech Support Team.
What option did you use when you were trying to burn with Nero? I use the Make MP3 Disc option if I want to make a MP3 Disc.
Also, a dumb question, but is your car stereo the same one described in the manual? Also, have you tried playing any pre-burned MP3 discs in the stereo player and see if they work or not?

yes, in the manual it does say it can play mp3's, in the car, where it shows the time, beneath that it says CD MP3...and other things, so it must play mp3. and i have already done what you said: Make MP3 in nero, still doesnt work, and it doesnt work with wma either.
is there any other way, to get extra/more minutes rather than 80mins on a cd-rw?? or any other music file format to play the music?

Use CD-R then drag / drop your MP3 files into Windows Media Player after clicking the "Burn" button

Ooops almost forgot .. CD-RWs need formatting. CD-R and CD+R do not

What I mean to imply is that is the stereo player the same one as shown in the book? Often car manufacturers put a footnote that is something like "Accessories and Colours may differ from the figure" or something similar. It might be that you have a different stereo player installed than the one shown in the book.
If you are sure of the stereo player, then try Oldie's suggestion. If it still doesn't work, then try to play some pre-recorded MP3 discs. If it still doesn't work, then either the player is incompatible with the discs or the stereo is most likely corrupted.
Please try the above and see if it makes any difference or not. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I agree with Oldie, try using ordinary cd-r`s and not cd-rw`s.

I also think it is down to the disc. Car radios don't always like CD-RW's so try a CD-R.
Btw, Oldie, you are thinking of DVD's with the + and - formats. CD's are only -
