Are Mobile CRM provides people for up-to-date information?

Mobile CRM provides sales people with up-to-date information about accounts, contacts as well as helps to mange the sales
opportunities and sales related activates. Is it true?

I was reading some article about mobile Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions. They are mentioned Blackberry device what is this??? Is this a java program? I have no idea about this. Anyone can u give any idea about this??????
