I will take Asus A7J to Wales.. I just want to hear your option that what i need to do in laptop to ensure security, faster performance.

I am not entirely sure I get your question. But, you could install a firewall, and AV. Really other than that there is nothing you need to do to take your laptop with you. At least IMO.

Hmm, Good idea, I have Windows Firewall on and in my serparate partition there is confidential data stored in there.
I will try to get on Wi-Fi hotspot.

I suggest comodo firewall. Its pretty good. Just it annoys the crap out of me cuse I game. Really any firewall does. 
I also suggest Avast for a AV. It works great!

Perfect! I have Avast already and have a scan yesterday and also defrag.. toooo sloww! I'll say about 1 full day to complete and i believe it is in different format... Normally we use NTFS but i use FAT.
Only way is reinstall would fix this problem.
Oh and i have do Cleanup aswell... and when i use it for travelling, i will turn brighness lower to save more battery

Ah yeah, turning the brightness down will definitely save power.

As WolfeyMole... Somewhere in here digging around in here  DID recommend me to Avast! and i found it simply enough for me.
