sometimes when i try open a file esp a .avi file my system for a few seconds and then crash dump blue screen appears and my system restarts. after restart windows shows some error file need to be submitted to microsoft....

I would recommend uninstalling it and then replacing it with Avast Home edition which is free and can be found here: avast! Free Antivirus - Download Software for Virus Protection
