Hi ,

I was hoping someone might be able to help . This is the story so far:

- Security suite virus invaded my system , I managed to finally get it removed by running an anti malware program.

- Now left with ' Windows has encountered a critical error and will shut down in one minute' response as soon as I log in ( normal/safe or safe mode with networking)

- Realised that if i deslected the wifi that I could log on without the error appearing.


Basically I have access to my laptop but no internet access. I have tried doing a system restore but I recieve error ' An unspecified error has occured during system restore ' so no changes are made.


I dont have any recovery discs to try so really wanting advise on my next move. I have used other forum suggestions to try a few things but I need to wait for proper advise as do not want to end up buying a new laptop..
