PhotoGallery and Captcha pop-ups

Hey All: Sorry I could not do any of your pre-post recommendations as I can not even get online long enough to download anything...I used malwarebytes and it go rid of 90 worms?? or whatever...but I still get Microsoft trying to install Photogallery(whatever that is) and an endless stream of Captcha popups that disable my attempts to connect to internet. I am communication from our laptop. Our antivirus software(McKaffe) did not ever detect this.
