hey

i was wondering what sort of guide line i could use to get a pc health check form you guys?
my laptop seems a bit sluggish, but there is no sign of virus or malware (that i can find)

Go and have a read of this thread here.

If your computer is still acting sluggish, then you may be dealing with Malware. Howard or Evilfantasy will take care of you if this is the case.
