Cool I followed your flash and adobe instructions so those are squared away, thanks!
And I went to this site in ie and clicked the link from there and it gave a whole different page than it was before for the windows updates, it says it will take about 17 minutes to update.
I had clicked the link from here with firefox before and then copy/paste'd the url into ie, I guess that's why it didn't work right before.
You've been a great help, I hope they're paying you lol
Are we all clean then? Do we need to do anything else?

It downloaded everything I needed to intall to update all my windows. But an error message came up for installing 'silverlight.msi'? It says "the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" ?
And the 'Microsoft .NET Framework 3.4 Service Pack 1 and .Net Framework 3.5 Family Update for .NET Versions 2.0 through 3.5" Won't update.
Will I be alright without those two or ?
I've got it trying again on just those two, after finishing the dl and install of everything else and rebooting like it said. 'Silverlight' gave me the same error.
Am I doing something wrong? It's on ie like you said to

Silverlight is optional '
but you can try this
Try to use Windows Installer CleanUp Utility to uninstall existing Silverlight: Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

Thanks miss
It's got a lot of caution signs on it. Will it uninstall everything I just installed too? If so can I opt out of silverlight then? Is it important?
