already done that albert, not a great deal on it other than it maybe. just need to be more certain

If you think you might have an infection, follow the Virus and Spyware removal instructions and attach fresh Hijack This, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments to a new thread in the Malware Removal forum, and post the result of the Panda Antirootkit scan.

Actually LOP shows up fairly easily in a HJT log, attach one and lets see.

it's not mine. anyway! i have discovered what it is....... it is part of trend micro pc-cillin. it is the side bar to internet services by trend micro, unfortunately for my friend it seems that there is a glitch in the av programme and th side bar cant complete its opening, thus preventing updates
