Tomrca.

Apart from the semo2x.exe trojan and possibly the 017 entries, q_a26's system is clean.

If after removing the trojan he still has keyboard problems, then it`s a keyboard issue.

Regards Howard

That looks fine now mate.

Please do the following to finish up.

Click start/run and type combofix /u into the run box and hit the enter key.

This will uninstall Combofix and remove all it`s folders logs etc.

Then, delete this file.

C:\WINDOWS\imsins.BAK

You can then get rid of Vundofix, HJT and any other tools you don`t want that we used during clean up.

As for your keyboard issue, it`s now clear that this is caused by a faulty keyboard.

I can`t really say what the problem is with your keyboard mate.

Since this is a laptop, it might be a good idea to have it looked at by a qualified tech.

i just can get convinced it is a keyboard problem .
i tried by several ways to get those keys working again during all this week in vain but today after doing all these scans and checks you told me about it reworked again somehow. it still works from time to time now and then gets back the way it was (if the keyboard is faulty why did it decided to work just today again ). it is just convincing me more that it is due to a kind of trojan or virus which is may be hiding well and not willing to get removed .
anyway thanks a lot for your hard work.
