Exclamation Getting an error when opening MBAM + more

The error I get is:

703 (0,14).

It will not even open up...it just pops up with this error and then dies.

I'm also having lots of issues suddenly with the computer. Stop errors, firefox (version 3.6.18) crashes constantly, and so on.

Norton also won't update. I have the newest (non beta version of it and try to keep it updated) (Norton Internet Security 2001 is the latest version)

The stop errors:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR _EQUAL
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR _EQUAL

help?

Oh and one last thing...it all seemed to start after I suddenly was getting a memory error. It said the memory size had changed. I had to put in a disk and reinstall the boot sector which stopped that problem. But now all this has started up...

It sounds as if you have a problem with a RAM module.
Try running memtest86 to confirm.

I was going to update and upgrade my memory anyways so once I do that, let's see if it stops causing problems. If not, I'll post again saying so and adding any new issues that appeared.

I hope it isn't a HD issue as well...because that will suck.

Best of luck - I would always recommend buying branded memory (such as Kingston or Crucial, for example)

That seemed to fix the norton issue. it is totally updated now and stuff. i'll check on mbam later i think but yeah...it was my memory that was failing.

Everything is fine. This can be closed now.
