Mandriva was recommended to me just then.

Never used it, Suse and Fedora core are the ones I use, with Gnome. Hate KDE lol

Wow, now I really have to look into this very closely... My current Kubuntu works well but maybe I will find additional joys with one of the 5 other distros. Thanks Mikorist for the extra (*&^%$# - it will be enjoyable, I'm sure.

My result was Debian, Ubuntu & Kubuntu, I find the last one strange as I prefer the Gnome GUI.
