What's your take on OSX security?

I am now a mac addict, about a month after buying my mac mini I can now say I would never buy a PC again. Everything I would ever want to do is done by it just faster and I even have bootcamp for 3D studio Max.

But anyway, I'm just running a firewall and it seems fine. I'm only questioning this as I've spent years abusing mac users saying it only takes one person to take advantage of a vulnerability and every arrogant mac "I don't need any AV" user will be crippled.

Is this true? Should I get some Anti-virus or am I safe?

ClamXav

What about that Eddie

It is, however, untested on 10.5 Server as it refuses to install on my 500Mhz PowerBook
If you're game, give it a shot (at your own risk obviously) and let me know how you get on.

Anti-virus and anti-spyware protection for Macs
Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac OS X - now with Leopard support

Even Sophos getting in on the action

None, but every other computer on my network is windows. The can still get my thought my mac, me not even notice as they wont be able to work in OSX but they get onto the rest of the network and cause harm.

I did see the Sophos one and think about buying it, but decided it wasnt worth it.
