I thought I was going crazy when I looked at it. But there is a 9800gtx on newegg.com available from MSI for about $195 dollars! That is crazy cheap.
I'm going to get myself one within the next week or two after I've got my tuition paid! There's only one catch with that particular model. It only gets 112 stream processors as opposed to the normal 128. For an extra 5 bucks you can get those other 16 processors though. Not too terrible. And still very very tempting.

About £105, which is crazy cheap, but what with this being rip off Britain, they'll just change the $ sign to a £ and say it's because of transport etc.

Well...with ordering two, I have two problems that bar me completely. The one being that I don't have two PCI-E 16x slots. And the second being that I'm short on cash.
As much as I would love to order two, that just isn't going to happen. Not until I have a job and a new mobo. Which likely means new computer, and that therefore means there will be new graphics cards out by then making this a budget purchase for those who can't afford the new ones.
So...I think I'll just stick with this. I'm still going to get a huge gain over my 9600gt, and it's still really amazing that a BFG model of the 9800gtx+ is only $199.99.
Here's the link to it for those of you interested in purchasing one...or just ogling it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814143149
