I've come across this site before... I think it may have been posted here before, not sure.

It is a great site, however I would also do a quick search on the program that is free -- just to make sure it is free from spyware, adware and the like.

Yup, good site, but as Jason quite rightly points out, not all the software offered is free from malware etc, so be careful and check it out thoroughly first.

I've been going there nearly every day since soon after they started in 2006. I've had some fantastic freebies there. Never had a problem personally, though I don't download everything I see
BM is right, there was one dodgy occasion a few months ago with the software that was offered [not with the site itself] but it was swiftly dealt with.
You can always have a quick look in the comments listed below the offer to see what others have said - mind you a lot of those are whines about similar software being offered. [good for a quick usually though]
