Day to day automatic back up software

Hi

Wonder if you would be able to point me in the direction of an easy to understand/setup automatic backup software that backs ups pretty much everything I have done on the PC that day onto an external hard drive. Ideally it should copy emails from outlook express, drawing, pdfs etc.

I have had a quick look through backup thread by Evil but was unsure if this would backup emails? I'd be screwed if I lost them.

A free program would be ideal but am not against paying a fee for the right program.

Thanks in advance.

Russ

Best one I have found is Genie - you may be able to find a freebie version somewhere but even if you have to pay for it it is not too much. Works a treat and only gets confused if you have more than one backup routine (like say a backup to an external hard drive as well as to another destination)

Try Handy Backup, it's a reliable and secure utility for automatic backup that is very easy to use.

one thing worth bearing in mind - incremental backups as otherwise you will be waiting for it to do the whole job each time
