Fortunately Mozilla, the developers of FireFox, have always been 'on the ball' when security issues arise and are quick enough to fix any holes in the software by issuing regular program updates that address the issues. This is one reason, and a good one at that, why FF is so popular |

It's only logical to assume the more popular something gets the more attention
it gets from other sources. Hackers know FF is being used more and more so
naturally that target is becoming much more focused on.
But I never had any probs with IE and certainly have no fear with FF at all.
Good luck and safe surf'n. |

I see weather predictions ahead 15 days and it's not even correct for what
may be happening at the moment much less two weeks from now.

Hypponen was speaking to PC Pro as part of an interview on internet security that will appear in issue 176, which goes on sale on 15 April.
| Read the article closely and it sounds like a load of journalistic IE "fanboy" bull$****.
Sorry but I think they are just trying to sell a magazine |

Although from the latest statistics FF is gaining more ground than I had realized. Browser Statistics
I think IE8 has brought the security level closer to that of FF. But I still think it will be a while before IE loses the most targeted status.
