Try clicking on the options and see if you have an advanced tab
speakers tab
you want to move that volume slider up full as well

Oh I know, I just had it that way because I have a habit of turning it down so I wouldn't forget if I were to just get off that it would blast someone's ears off. lol
Also there is a advanced button on the options part, but it's grayed out (not clickable).

It looks like you have no mixer installed
- Click "Start"
- Select "Control Panel"
- Select "Add Hardware"
- Click "Next"
- Select "Yes, I have already connected the hardware" and click "Next"
- Scroll all the way to the bottom of the list, select "Add a new hardware device", and click "Next"
- Select "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)" and click "Next"
- Select "Sound, video and game controllers" and click "Next"
- Select "(Standard system devices)" under "Manufacturer", select "Media Control Devices" under "Model", and click "Next"
- Follow the remaining prompts
then see if you have advanced settings please

Okay, actually.. I did happen to go to "properties" just above the advanced grayed out button and changed it from Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 (which is my headphones) to SoundMAX Digital Audio and it gave me a advanced button but under the Microphone section of the volumes. As you can see below...
