Should do, yes. But doesn't the Norton Removal Tool work for that? (Never tried it).

The Norton Removal Tool works fine - the trouble is with it is that is will also remove things like early editions of ACT! which were once Symantec products. If this Revo tool is a bit more manageable it will be very useful in my campaign and personal crusade to remove Norton from as many machines as possible.

Well Revo Uninstaller will work. I've never had any problems with it since using it, but you never know... Still, though, try it and see what it clears up.

I don't have one here at the moment but usually get one or two a month so it should not be long before the next one rolls in!

Revo will uninstall anything, even programs that refuse to uninstall. Once the built in uninstaller finished running, even if there are errors, Revo then scans the registry and removes all of the keys related to the program and removes them. Same for the files and folders.

Hunter mode is in this one which is a free version.

Reinastall the software and then uninstall it with Revo. You will see how much junk registry keys and files/folders the built in uninstaller leaves behind. Revo completely removes programs. It isn't just for broken uninstallers. I will only uninstall using Revo.
I used hunter mode a few days ago to kill a SD card that got "stuck". Worked like a charm without having to restart or anything else when Task Manager wouldn't work.

I have given it a try and EF is right, it removes far more than the uninstaller does by itself.
It runs the uninstaller first then tells you what's left over so there is plenty of proof to see that it is doing a good job.
