Anyone know where the settings are for changing the max file size to send?
Since a major rebuild I cannot send any large files any more. It is not the AV.

go to tools | accounts | Mail | properties | Advanced | select "break apart messages bigger than x KB then enter the max size of file you can send

Cheers Howard - I had forgotten about that option. The particular PITA was a backup volume which could not be broken down so I guess I'll have to stick it on a CD and snailmail it!

Ah - there's another story, Howard. This is a backup volume from the Genie Backup product which got all bitter and twisted and refused to restore. I am trying to send it back to the guy after fixing it but it's too big for the email - just says not enough memory (which is cr*p but there you go).
