I get a message telling me it is done but the page stays blank when I try and open a .aspx page. All security settings at default, add-ons not set for this and Kaspersky told to leave it alone.
Any ideas anyone?

Look like that you haven't got the updated .NET frameworks, so can you check that.
And i think your pc is messed up now, due to EF's suggestion.

WTF is EF and what was his suggestion? My PC is otherwise just fine and dandy; goes like the clappers and will go even faster when I fit that Q6600 later this week. Go green if you dare, dudes!

@ bushwacker - sorry for being a bit slow; I had not made the association with that problem
I anticipate a complete OS reinstall later this week so will have another go at it then if this does not clear it.
